All I remember about this dog was that she lived on our street and her name was Dallie.
My grandmother’s neighbor’s dog. His name was King.
Another of my grandparents’ neighbor’s kids, in Grandmother’s backyard. Dog’s name? No idea. From a Brownie negative, early 1950s.
This is the little known and ill-conceived follow-up to Dr. Seuss’ “The Cat in the Hat” — “The Cat in the Box.” Didn’t get much press.
